Winter is upon us at least in Scotland, where we are already driving in the dark and have snow and ice. Clearly, these conditions increase the risk, so it’s a good time to prepare your car for winter, paying particular attention, to tyres, lights and screenwash. Driving in the dark requires much greater concentration and reduced speeds. Always drive within the limits of what you can see. A major hazard in Scotland is deer. An acquaintance of ours recently had his car badly damaged when he hit a deer and quite close to our office there was a bad car accident the other evening when a car hit a cow.
Our MD David took this picture recently when he stopped for a black cow, but fortunately it was daylight at the time.
Do take extra care please.
