First Response Vehicle Gifted To Local Community

kelvintop-set News

Kelvin TOP-SET is beginning 2016 on a positive note; we are proud to be making a valuable contribution to Health and Safety by gifting a new First Responder vehicle to the local community. The Skoda Yeti has been fully funded by Kelvin TOP-SET and will help the local First Response team to arrive quickly on the scene in emergency situations within the community.

First Response teams are highly important as they can begin undertaking basic life support before an ambulance is able to arrive, improving the chances of survival of the stricken person.

Commenting on the donation, Director of Operations, Lorna Ramsay said:

“David and I wanted to do something for the village that would potentially benefit every single person.”

Managing Director, David Ramsay followed up by saying:

“We are delighted to give the car to the village because we believe in supporting the community. We are very much an international company but we also want to support our local people here.”

First Response manager Alan Moffat said:

“It was with great pleasure and thanks that First Response Comrie received the new community responder car from David and Lorna Ramsay and their company Kelvin TOP-SET.

The Yeti will be a lifeline to our community enabling us to respond to medical emergencies quickly in all types of weather and the new car will be a great asset. The team at First Response Comrie have striven now for ten years to support the community in times of medical emergency and in recent times during floods. With this absolutely generous gift we will be able to carry on providing this service to the Comrie area.”
